The School of Future Actors

Head of Cultural and Social Affairs Department Ibrahim Aktürk said “We started the second semester of education with 40 students in two groups. We believe future actors will be trained in Metropolitan Acting School which raises awareness for the art of theatre”.

One of the students of the Acting School Hatice Kübra Çetin stated “Frankly, I have always been interested in acting since I was a child. I was very happy to see this kind of an acting school is founded in Sakarya. I found it very difficult to study in a conservatory. Thus, Metropolitan Acting School became a great passion for me. I reached my aims here. We keep taking classes joyously”.

One of the 18 years and above students Sidal Yaşar said “I was interested in theatre when I was a university student. In my opinion, acting school provides not only theatral benefits but also physical, psychological and social ones. Our classes are not one dimensional. We start all classes with physical exercises. We continue with stage movements. Many movements I learned in classes affected my life in a positive way. I offer my thanks to the Metropolitan Municipality. This school taught me that we can introduce our culture to different cultures through theatre”.
